M5 Plus design base is metal, with a D Curve on back of panel ( like you see in iPhone ). The back panel is equipped with 13MP primary camera, with dual-tone LED flash just below the camera lens. The back panel got a branding of New Logo and Gionee.

In front Display, Above the screen, you’ll find the 5MP selfie shooter, earpiece and sensors, while at bottom, you will find two Android navigation keys, and home button that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.

On the right side of panel, you can see the volume rocker and power button, and an ejectable tray that holds the microSD card. The left side features another tray that conceals the two SIM card slots. Gionee does not provide any slots / buttons on top, while at the bottom you’ll find the USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and primary microphone.

For software, M5 Plus comes with Lollipop and Amigo UI 3.1. The smartphone is equipped with lot of third-party apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, UC Browser, 360 Security Lite, Touchpad, DU Speed Booster, DU Battery Saver, Hotoday, OLX, Bubble Bash 3, Danger Dash, Dragon Mania, Motocross. Gionee claims a stand by time of 32 days, and going by previous experience, We expect battery to perform for a full day on moderate usage. The only key missing point of Gionee is ” Value for Money”.

The smartphone is highly priced @ Rs 26,999. While you will find some better options at this Price Point. I would like to ask the readers if M5 Plus is priced correctly.
