Amol Tukrel, An Indian NRI kid, studying at Holy Trinity School Toronto, started learning coding when he was in 3rd standard. Amol, Now in 10th standard, is submitting his project in Google Science fair.
Though in Pilot Test, the software search is limited to The NY Times news article and surprisingly provided more accurate results than Google. Tukrel claims his search engine is far better as it understand account location or browsing history but also understands context and meaning of the Phrase. In Other words, Search engine searches based on users personality. Google also does the personalized search but in a limited way.. Amol basically introduced One step ahead ” Advance Personalized Search Engine “.
What Tukrel uses : Computer with 1 GB free memory, Python Language , Spreadsheet and off course access to ” Google ” and Data for which search to be done. Time taken to develop this search module is ” 3 months for design and 60 hours for encoding.”
Tukrel submitted his paper to the International High School Journal of Science last month, and hopes to study computer science at Stanford University. But before that, he wants to develop a news aggregator based on this technology, and licence it to a few digital marketing agencies as well.
As of Today, Amol is running a company by the name of ” Tacocat Computers “. Let’s see , How Google takes it, Specially Sundar Pichai. As of now, Amol wants to finish ” 11th Grade ” after dropping out for One year.
