Google Play store has stopped

This is happening recently in Android Mobiles after upgrading to Lollipop.

There are few Tricks, but you need to try your luck, as which one will work on which Mobile, Its not sure :

Four simple Steps :

1. Empty Cache from Google Store

2. Clear Data

3. Un-install Play store updates

4. Clear Cache from Play Services

5. Remove Google Account and re-enter

6. Last Option – Factory Reset Mobile

7. For Rooted Devices , There is one more Problem” Can not connect ” or  “Check Internet Connection ”

Locate system/etc/hosts and open with the Edit option.

Add a hashtag (#) to the front of the second set of numbers and save your changes (i.e. change from 127.0.0.1 to #127.0.0.1). Reboot and re-add your Google account and your Google Play Store problems should be fixed. If not, Delete Host file.

  • Click Settings, then apps, then All, click on Google Play Store. Then:

    Clear cache, Force stop, restart Google Play and retry

  • Click Settings, then apps, then All, click on Google Play Store. Then:

    Clear data, Force stop, restart Google Play and retry

  • Click Settings, then Accounts and Sync, Click on your account, then on options icon, Remove account (ignore warnings – it’s easy to restore)

    Restart Google Play. It will ask you to add an account – add your original Account .
