IFA 2016

Huawei’s planning on launching it’s next Mediapad and a possible new line of smartphones at IFA

Chinese OEM, Huawei, continues to be a busy bee when it comes to launching new devices. The Honor 8 has just launched and is proving to be an exciting device. It’s now in the freshet of budget frinedly phones including the Axon 7 and the Alcatel 4S. But that’s soon to be old news, as IFA is just around the corner. We have word from trusted leakster EVleaks that the company is planning on unveiling three new devices at the event.
It seems that Huawei will be unveiling a new iteration to its tablet series at IFA. The company has released a fine selection of tablets over the past couple of years under the name Mediapad, and with its rapid success these past months, it’s interesting to see where Huawei takes the struggling tablet market. A new tablet is interesting enough, but what has us most intrigued is the fact that two devices under the name “Nova” are mentioned. We have a standard model and a “Plus” model rumored. Not much is known about these devices, so specs are out of the question at this point. My guess is that these phones may be more of the mid-ranged or lower tier market, as Huawei already has its upper tier devices like it’s “P” series and its “Mate” series. Regardless of what these devices will be, we are all excited to see what the company will be pulling the covers off of come IFA.
