Lenovo shows off flexible design prototypes – Lenovo Tech World 2016

During Lenovo’s keynote Lenovo showed off two knew flexible device prototypes with the help of famous YouTuber Meghan Mccarthy. The first prototype appeared to be a phone/watch hybrid. When it’s flat it’s a phone, but when you put it on your wrist you bend the sides so it curves around you wrist like a watch. Interestingly it appears to stay on her wrist without any sort of watch band.

The second prototype is a table/phone hybrid. The same type as we’ve seen from Samsung’s patents as well as some concept videos. When it’s lied out flat it’s a table, but you can fold it up and turn it into a smartphone, although unsurprisingly it does add some girth when folded.

Lenovo has said that it isn’t a product yet; hence the prototype, but it looks like Lenovo is getting into the flexible display game.
