Meizu is keeping it’s PRM Team ( Product Roadmap ) busy this year, after selling over 20 million handsets last year. Turns out that they’re going to launch 7 smartphones in 2016 and at least two of them will be launched in Aprilh, according to well informed sources.
According to the newly leaked infoRMATION, Meizu China plans to introduce atleast 7 smartphones this year, The devices listed the road map are :
- Meizu M3
- M3 Note
- Metal 2
- MX6 Mini
- PRO 6 Mini
- PRO 6
Now, we are almost sure that the Meizu M3, M3 Note, Metal 2, MX6 and PRO 6 will be announced this year, but we’re not all that sure when it comes to the rest of the devices on this list.
Meizu has recently cancelled the release of the PRO 5, and the chances are that both the MX6 Mini and PRO 6 Mini will see the light of day, but when. This is a Big question mark.
The list came from a third party source, and it is possible that this may not be authentic. Having that in mind, there are some additional details regarding every single of these devices included in the image down below. The list claims that the Meizu PRO 6 may be working on Exynos 8890 SoC, even though Meizu already confirmed that MediaTek’s Helio X25 processor will ship with that device. This, of course, makes us doubt the accuracy of the leaked info, but if you’d like to check it out after all, take a closer look at the image down below.
The company has two press events scheduled for next month and while it’s not very clear what they’ll announce there, it’s very likely time for the debut of the Meizu M3 Note and the Meizu MX6 or Pro 6. The latter has appeared in leaks on AnTuTu, GeekBench and GFXBench.
