Summary

Design – Display / form factor: For sure, Samsung S6 wins the race over Oneplus Two and iphone 6 plus with better pixelization, but I have seen the Display and felt the touch flow. Seems to be much better than other Mobiles. Flawless touch, hope it wont lag as the time passes.

For Design part, will always rate it high as I liked changeable covers. Outstanding Designs and Quality.

Performance – Processor / RAM : Both have different processors, but with 1.8 GHz Oneplus is a clear winner and no two doubts, With 4 GB RAM & 64 GB, Performance in Oneplus Two can beat any other Smartphone in the World. Even finger print scanner is very fast. At the moment, The best in industry. With such a hardware, you are secured till 2016. Will call it as Next generation of Smartphones.

Camera : This is highly debatable, as I have taken pictures from Lenovo K3 to Galaxy S6 Edge and iphone 6 plus. May be I am bit biased with iPhone , I always rate iphone camera above any other camera. At 13 MP with laser autofocus and OIS, Oneplus Two is not a looser if not a winner. Will rate Camera lower than iphone 6 and Galaxy S6.

Camera feature depends clearly on situation. Some times , you do not get good pictures even with DSLR.

Storage : Oneplus Two left a big gap between 16 – 64 GB and offcourse with a price difference of only 2000 INR, I will always prefer to go for 4 GB RAM + 64 GB. Here, Oneplus Two has not managed the price gap properly. Hope they do not make the mistake of bring in much of stock of 16 GB as it does not have External Memory.

Back Sensor :  I love this feature. There is a sensor on back which can Theme as per the back cover color. I need to confirm this part, but as Oneplus stated.

Battery : Clear cut winner at 3300 mAh.

Missing features : NFC , IR Blaster , FM Radio and Quick Charge. These four missing features have made me think whether to call it a future phone or no ??

Heating Issues : While the phone was charging on Display, I realized phone is heating up. That confused me if SD 810 still having Thermal issues. Though it’s too early to comment on this.

Pricing : Just gap of 2000 INR makes 16 GB horrible at this price point. I will prefer to stick with OneplusOne or wait for the price drop of 64 GB till 18,999. That’s the perceived value of Oneplus Two in my opinion. Oneplus Two played smart by continuing Oneplus One @ 32 GB. Filling the gap smartly.

Final Conclusion

For me its a smartphone you should take if you have limited budget and want to retain phone for a long time. As In India, I may not see NFC payment soon. More over times are rare when you use NFC and IR Feature. Offcourse, I use IR as RC in my LG. What makes me worry is the missing feature of Quick Charge.

At this price point, definitely Oneplus Two can not provide all the features of Galaxy S6. It offers almosy every feature, rather much more than that specially 4 GB RAM + 64 GB combination, which I will rate as the best in Industry. Honestly, for me Device performance is more important over Camera, If Device lags / runs slow , no use of having good features.

Do not make the mistake of purchasing 16 GB Version. In 16 GB, you will hardly get 10 GB of space usage. I will never ever recommend that.

If you are not in hurry, wait for Meizu MX5 and see what price point they offer. Hold your purchase till than.
