Recently, Oppo launched the Oppo A37,Another selfie Smartphone by the company. Some features are really fantastic for the Users, and will surely provide a new rich experience with the Camera.
The A37 brings users an outstanding selfie experience, even in low-light conditions. It uses a 5 MP front camera with a 1/4-inch sensor and BSI+ (backside illumination), while its extremely large 1.4μm pixels, the biggest available in this price segment, increase light sensitivity and reduce noise. Coupled with the Screen Flash feature, which emits a flash from the display, these features ensure that the A37 takes bright and natural-looking selfies in any condition. The Beautify 4.0 technology has been optimized using data from millions of users, and now supports 7 different levels of intelligent beautification, with two modes for different skin tones. This allows the A37 to capture your best look at any moment.
Design and Display
Oppo Smartphones definitely deserve full marks when it comes to the DEsign part. Here Its very rare to pin point any defects. Its 5-inch display is covered in 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4, giving a premium look without sacrificing premium durability, while the flawlessly smooth rear surface is expertly calibrated for a comfortable, stable grip.
Fitted with an internal high-strength magnesium aluminum alloy framework, the A37 weighs in at only 136 grams. It’s an impressively balanced weight, giving the phone a beautifully light, but never insubstantial, feel.
The Oppo A37 flaunts a flaunts a 5-inch (1,280Ã720 pixels) HD LCD display with 294ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass on top of it for protection. It is really compact and fits comfortably wherever you keep it, irrespective of your hand or pocket. It is sized at 143.1 x 71.0 x 7.68 mm and weighs only 136g that does not make the handset very heavy either. It comes with an all-metal unibody design that gives it a premium classy look.
Configuration and OS
The handset is loaded with 2GB of RAM and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor seated in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset. It also equips an Adreno 306 GPU to handle gaming and multimedia department. It operates on the Android v5.1 Lollipop integrated with its own Color UI (Color OS 3.0) for customization.
Here my personal view is : In this price range you can get much better specs like 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and FHD Display.
Camera and Storage
For the primary snapper, the Oppo A37 has an 8MP camera that integrates a back-illuminated digital image sensor with an LED flash. On the bright side, it comes with a new feature called Ultra-HD shooting mode, which allows you to capture clear and detailed photos. For selfie lovers, it has a 5MP front facing camera with a selfie-related software features called Beautify 4.0, which comes with seven different levels of intelligent beautify that can apply to images. An interesting point is that you can trigger a self-timer by just waving your hand in front of the camera. It comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be increased up to a limit of 128GB via microSD cards.
Battery and Connectivity
The Oppo A37 is backed by a 2,630mAh non-removable Li-polymer battery. It is a 4G enabled smartphone with dual SIM feature that offers 4G connectivity over SIM 1. It comes with almost all the standard connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB 2.0, etc.
The Oppo A37 is a bit expensive device as compared to other phones of this range, but the camera features it offers is remarkably great for those who are fond of pictures. It is a slim, compact and lightweight device that can easily fit anywhere. In terms of performance, the device has mediocre configuration but yet can deliver satisfactory performance along with a decent battery backup.
On papers, for sure Oppo A37 has failed to impress as compared to the competition.
