Is Samsung Battery recording you ? No

There is Video which is going Viral in India ( earlier this video started in June 14th ) about Samsung battery stealing your pictures and Videos

Definitely, the content shown in Video is correct. There is a coil under the wrapper of Samsung Battery, but explanation si wrong.

In June 2015, several videos went viral claiming that Samsung had planted a secret chip on batteries to steal data and photographs from users phones.

The coil and chip  inside battery is a Near Field Communication ( NFC ) antenna, which activates NFC  features. If you have ever used your phone  ” to pay at a cash register ” or ” sync your phone to another phone “to exchange a file or picture, you will use it.

Best deal is , Use NFC With the chip on and try to use NFC without chip ( at your own risk ), you will see the difference ( Though, I need to try it yet ).

“While there is a coil ‘hidden’ in the wrapping surrounding most batteries included with Samsung phones, this is merely the NFC antenna and not a ‘secret microchip’ used to steal data,”

Un-necessarily do not remove the coil and spend extra money on Battery and regret later.
