Samsung unveiled its affordable 4G handset, the Galaxy J2, at Rs. 8,490 with a new feature called ultra data saving mode reduces data usage maximum upto 50 %
The Galaxy J2 is specially for Indian Smartphone Market and low end 4G device priced at Rs. 8,490. The device has a metallic finish on both sides and a faux leather back, it will be available in black, white and gold colors starting September 21 in all the channels, off-line and online.
Samsung is bundling a new data saving mode that will utilize Opera’s Max technology to individually block apps from consuming data in the background, with the compression engine offering data savings of up to 50 percent in video apps, and 40 percent in social networking apps.
Asim Warsi, Vice President – Mobile Marketing,Samsung India stated ” the UDS ( ultra data saving ) mode feature has been developed in India to deliver the “most cost-efficient 4G device in the market”.
The J2 is almost similar to Yu Yunique which got almost same features but at a far more affordable price of INR 4,999.
