Samsung to launch world’s slimmest Tab
According to recent rumors, Samsung will announce two of its high-end Android based tablets considered to be the successor to the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The successors will be named Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is approved by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (also known as TENAA).The device features an 8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, weighs 260 grams, and measures 198.2 x 134.5 x 5.4 mm. The device is supposed to be tagged as the world’s thinnest tablet,measured at just 5.4 mm,but it is yet to be made official before giving the tag.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz (most likely, this is an Exynos 7420) paired with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android Lollipop.Other features include LTE, a 2 MP front-facing camera, 8 MP back camera, and 16GB of internal storage and is expandable.
