Samsung redefines online Sales Strategy for Indian Market

Samsung, Leader in Telecom Market in India is closely watching consumer behavior in India for Online Sales Trends 

Samsung has formed a New Team at HQ Level to monitor consumer behavior and purchasing pattern in India specially Online. Though Samsung has not given any concrete figures that how much Revenue it gets from Online Sales, but Samsung may soon come up with a strong Online Portal for India.

Currently, Samsung Team is evaluating the strength of Indian E-Commerce and Not to forget ” Samsung pay “, The day is not far when we may witness a strong Online Portal from Samsung. Samsung will fully utilize it’s strength of Samsung pay. Just to remind, Samsung launched Samsung pay in Korea last month and winded up first month with a Revenue of $ 30 mn ( ₩35.1 billion ).

Samsung Pay is proving its biggest advantage is its wide acceptance among merchants in South Korea with more than 1.5 million total transactions to date and approximately 60 percent of the transaction taking place on the Galaxy Note5 device. Usage of the mobile payment service has surged, recording approximately 36 percent active users in its first month with about 10 percent using Samsung Pay daily.

For us the consumer is the key. Where the consumer would want us, we would be there and would be offering right kind of products at right price

Samsung has been stressing again and again on Consumer move and it’s very clear that Indian Consumers are moving towards on-line Sales, but still major chunk of Sales comes from Retail Showrooms.

Samsung India got major rivals like Micromax, Apple and Intex in terms of sales and revenue, but when it comes to Technology, LG has always been ahead of Samsung.
