Windows Surface Phone may come with 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 830

In December 2015.  Qualcomm officially announced to support Smartphones with 8GB RAM in the upcoming Snapdragon 830 (MSM8998) chipset. Same time Microsoft also officially announced, that the Windows 10 Mobile will also support the Snapdragon 830 Chipset for their newest and upcoming smartphones.

Microsoft did not promote the last phones very aggressively, the Lumia 950 and 950XL. In fact , Microsoft Smartphones and Windows OS Smartphones in general failed to impress the consumers and had a tough time with sales.

If Microsoft wants to turn the waves, The only chance may be to introduce ” a Surface phone ” in 2016, ideally with high RAM, Let’s say 8GB RAM and a Snapdragon 830. The key reason being, Microsoft can beat Android and iOS only in specs, performance and price. Beating on other fronts may not be feasible till Windows improve drastically in App Development.

According to latest reveals, Microsoft might launch 3 versions of the Surface Phone in 2016. One with High Specs like 8GB RAM, another one in  entry level and the third one may be a mid-level phone. If we could suggest a Pricing Strategy, we would love for Microsoft to follow the routes of the Google Nexus or Xiaomi Phones for their Surface phones. High Specs at affordable price !!

Now the key question which arises is, Are you ready to accept Windows Smartphone with Higher specs and low price affordability ??
