Xiaomi has already announced the official event that will be held on 24 November, and they will announce new devices. Earlier we guessed the announcement of Redmi Note 2 Pro, but this is not the only device Xiaomi is going to announce.
It’s been more than a year when Xiaomi Mi Pad was announced, and this is the time for upgraded tablet from Xiaomi. Xiaomi’s co-founder and president, Lin Bin has just confirmed the launch of Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. He has not said anything in word, but he posted a picture that clearly looks like a tablet.
Now this is certain that the previous leaked images of Mi Pad 2 was fake. Along with the leaked image Xiaomi also posted a teaser image that showed something to arrive in slim design. This should be about Mi Pad 2, because the Mi Pad in posted image looks quite slim (not more than 7 mm thick). This time Xiaomi has said goodbye to plastic body, Mi Pad 2 will feature metal body.
As far as technical specifications are concerned, Xiaomi Mi Pad is supposed to be powered by Intel Atom X5-Z8500 CPU, With Two variants of RAM 2GB / 32GB 3GB/64GB ROM, 8 MP rear sniper and 5 MP Selfie camera. In terms of OS, Xiaomi may also take out Windows 10 as well as Android tablet, but right now we can expect only Android version. Mi Pad 2 may not have MicroSD slot, and to compensate this, Xiaomi may skip 16GB version. Expected price is ~ 1599 Chinese Yuan (around $250) for the basic model.
Along with Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, Lin Bin also posted an image that coulde be Redmi Note 2 Pro, same model that was spotted via Tenna certification weeks ago. However, Lin Bin post confirmed one color of Redmi Note 2 Pro to be gold.
