Xiaomi lost charm in 2015, Basically because of lost focus on 5.5″ Smartphone. Xiaomi created lot of vaccum and gave chance to Lenovo and other players to grow. Specially Huawei, Vivo and Oppo earned good reputation and landed up getting space in Top 5 Smartphone Vendors in Q1 2016.
Though Xiaomi claimed having sold 14.8 mn smartphones, which is marginally higher than Vivo which is ranked 5th at 14.3 mn. There is a slight conflict among Research companies, and even as per Gizmo China, It’s confirmed that Xiaomi lost it’s Top slot to Oppo and Vivo. No two Doubts, Xiaomi landed up with Top slot in China Market.
Seeing the launch Scenario in 2016, Xiaomi may come strongly and regain it’s slot in Top in World wide shipments. The moment we received Xiaomi Note 3 Pro, One of my favorite Smartphones, I decided to open it immediately and the first step was to check the Display quality.
